The Sailaway Logbook 2019

This year (2019), our plan is to drive to Sailaway once again, via the Alps which is becoming only of our favourite area's in Europe. Our last trip via this routing saw us drop down through the Italian Lakes to Genoa and pick up the ferry to Sardinia from there? This time we will cut back through France to Toulon for the ferry, stopping at Grenoble for a couple of days. We have no intention to sail far this year it is to be a year based on accessing how much we can do, based on circumstance? The winter will again be spent in Carloforte. Our return journey in September will see us take the faster return route, ferry to Toulon, then due north to Calais but that is a long way off - lots to do and see before then?
